About Tim Haines

Timothy Haines is the founder of Unicorn Flames, a West Michigan venture studio, and the creator of Crash That Course, a hands-on AI education series. He brings 15+ years of experience in marketing, recruiting, and technology education.

Tim has built custom AI training programs in partnership with Salesforce Workforce Navigators, supporting professionals with disabilities navigating career transitions in the Salesforce ecosystem. He leads monthly Show & Tell sessions at Bamboo Grand Rapids -- live, unscripted demos of Claude, Python automations, and AI workflows for non-developers.

He also runs the Midwest Marketing Meetup, a 288-member bi-monthly community for marketers, creatives, and technologists in Grand Rapids, and Daylighting Talent, a recruiting and coaching practice for marketing professionals.
